Hi All, Sorry to leave you hanging like that. our wonderful little boy was born on oct 9 weighing 3.36kg. We are all stoked his name is J*O*S*E*P*H H*E*N*R*Y named for his great great grandfather. (but he will always be my little Pumpkin) he has been a challenging little bub. and has caused much sleep deprivation in our house hence the lack of blogging.
I will probably only blog sporadically from now on. I think our family is full. If it was an easy journey with a guarantee of a happy ending at the end I would probably add to our family again. but as the journey is tough I think it is time I learnt to count my blessings.
Many thanks to all you bloggers that have supported me on this road to adding to my family I don't know what I would have done without you all.

34 1/2 weeks
hi all sorry for my absence,
there has not been a lot to write on this pregnancy. my good news is that at my 32 week scan the placenta has shifted out of the way so this is now a 40 week natural pregnancy instead of a 36 week one ending in a c section. I am very much relieved. and pumpkin is still a little boy I really need to start knitting his going home outfit but I am finding myself a bit time poor at the moment. Munchkin is at Kindergarten and doing really well in reading and maths. I am so proud of her as if she was a day younger the school wouldn't accept her till next year. Cookie has just turned 2 which I can't believe she is definatly headed in to the terrible two's and not so placid anymore. she loves bike rides and peppa pig. She is still a funny kid and see's the lite side of life. she enjoys stirring her rather intense big sister immensely and will tell her to "shush" if she is complaining to much.
it will be very interesting to see how little Pumpkin slots in and what his personality will bring to the family mix.

appologies.
Sorry for my absence from blog land, life is really busy at the moment. We have recently bought a rural property 36 acres 20 mins out of town and are currently renovating. we are living in a tiny cottage on the property while we renovate the main farm house. I am starting to stress that it won't be ready before pumpkin's arrival.
I had my 20 week scan and pumpkin is doing well they did pick up that i have placenta previa that completely covers my cervix. and i am worried as the dr said that at about 27 weeks i am likely to have a bleed and have to go to hospital for up to a week. they can usually stop the bleed the first time but every bleed after the first increases my chances that pumpkin will be a premie. and i also really didn't want to have to have a Cesarean in my pregnancy journey. So now i am feeling really anxious again that all is not as it should be.
oh and it looks like pumpkin is a boy!!!!!! i really want my little man to be ok.

My fingers toes and everything else are crossed for my first scan tomorrow. I'm a tad apprehensive as appart from tiredness i have no pregnancy symptoms. and i've had diarrhoes on and off for two weeks now ( which i have read a few studies that link this to miscarriages). i have never had problems this early before so i shouldn't be worried yet week 9-12 seems to be when things go wrong. hopefully everything is ok tomorrow.

Today my beautiful Munchkin started school she is looking like a big kid more and more each day. and while Cookie is still very much doing things for the first time be it kicking, running or new words and phrases. I am a little saddened that these fantastic firsts are ending for Munchkin here is a photo of my proud big girl on her first day of School. she loves it too at pick up she said "the best bit about school is that i can go the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next," etc it went on for a while she was so excited.
up up up !!!
Bhcg today was 3159 and progesterone a fantasitc 130 things are looking good this week my first scan is scheduled for 21/2/13 fingers crossed everyone.

Prayers for a friend
I recently found out that a friend of mine has suffered a miscarriage at 12weeks after her first ivf cycle ( and many many failed IUI's before hand) she is utterly devastated. she blogs at the land of Mel . She Doesn't post on infertility matters but if any other baby loss mums out there could give her a subtle virtual hug it would be much appreciated just to let her know that she isn't alone and is supported in her time of need
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
